Overview

The Six Sigma Yellow Belt course introduces the basic concepts of Six Sigma methodology. It includes the Lean Manufacturing process, with concepts explained through real-time examples and case studies.   • Overview of Quality, Introduction, and Evolution of Six Sigma
  • Six Sigma Metrics – DPMO, PPM, DPO, RTY
  • Overview of DMAIC Methodology, Defining Improvement Opportunities using project charter, Output Indicators - CCR & CTP (Critical Customer Requirements & Critical to Process)
  • Basic Statistics & Probability and Distributions, Graphical representation of data
  • Introduction to Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
  • Analysis tools - Pareto chart, Scatter plot, Cause & Effect diagram
  • Improvement ideas, Development of solutions, and Process monitoring
  • Overview of Lean & Introduction to Lean tools (5S, Poka Yoke, TPM, etc.)
  • Overview of DMADV/DMEDI and Product Quality Planning
  • Introduction to QFD, FMEA, and Value Engineering
