  • Low Cost Automation (LCA) – Concept, steps to implement & challenges
  • Types of actuators and control elements in Low Cost Automation
  • LCA case studies to understand pneumatics components & circuit connections for single and multi-cylinder control
  • • Pneumatics, hydraulics, and PLC – system structure, components construction, and working
  • PLC programming and interfacing with pneumatics & hydraulics applications
  • LCA case studies to understand PLC-integrated pneumatic applications
  • Cost-benefit analysis

Outcomes

At the end of the course, the participant will be able to:
  • Understand low cost automation concepts, systems, components, and their importance in the industry
  • Understand how LCA can improve safety and productivity in the workplace
  • Develop simple LCA applications in their workplace
