Assistant Manager or Manager Business Development– BFSI

Work Location: Chennai
Experience: 8 to 12 years
Language: Tamil, English (Hindi is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Research and identify potential clients and key decision-makers within the BFSI sector.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the needs, challenges, and trends within the BFSI industry.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients to understand their business objectives and tailor solutions accordingly.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Responsible for the P&L of Contract Staffing business and the development & management of the team. Span of control will include the Sales, Delivery/Client Relations, Recruitment and operations teams.
2. Maintains full responsibility of Staffing business which includes profitability, upscaling of business, budgeting and business operations
3. Closely track Staffing Marketing team performance and conversion ratios and support them in enhancing their performance levels
4. Directly responsible to manage performance of team members through necessary interventions and training.
5. Supervise the recruiting team and report on its performance
6.  Keep track of recruiting metrics (e.g. time-to-hire and cost-per-hire)
7. Stay up-to-date on labor legislation and Staffing related Statutory Acts.

10. Interact with a variety of company stakeholders across industries/domains and build relationships with prospective organisations.

13. Negotiating and closing contracts with the client and establishing a timeline of performance

Qualification And Experience:

i.Graduate & MBA with 15+ years of relevant experience in Contract Staffing, Business Development, Account Development & Relationship Management, Client Acquisition and Engagement
ii. Strong team player, acts like an owner, and ultimately focused on delivering results with high standards. Makes good decisions when analysis of data is not sufficient to reach a conclusion
iii. Simplifier but at the same time things big, take smart risks, is innovative and can think out of the box.
iv. Develops original ideas, approaches, and solutions to typical, unusual, or difficult situations or problems.
v. Excellent in Leadership Qualities
vi. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management.
vii. Flexible, approachable with a pleasant personality
viii. Must be good in interpersonal relations
ix. Flexible to travel across state on average at moderate frequency if required
